Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any roles to be played by the staffs?

Teachers or invigilators present in the hall must monitor students and report any incidents of suspicious behavior to the organizing committee immediately.

Staff should ensure that students maintain proper distance from each other, and they may not provide assistance with questions or answers.

Schools must maintain open communication with competition organizers during the exam in case of technical issues or infractions.

Ensure all devices are fully charged or connected to power, and have a stable internet connection. Interruptions due to technical issues should be documented and reported.

Students must follow instructions to log into the secure testing environment and must not attempt to bypass security protocols.

We expect around 5-8 students from each class (Year 4 – 11) be given the opportunity to compete and win in this tournament. Others can get their opportunity next time. However, it’s okay to have as many as would love to have access to the Cambridge Mathematics Interactive study guide for their academic development.

Are there any consequences for cheating?

Any confirmed cheating or rule violations will lead to disqualification of the student, and the school may also face penalties, such as being barred from future competitions.

Staff should immediately report any rule violations or technical issues that could impact fairness.

Answer patterns will be reviewed for unusual or identical responses. To scrape out malpractices.

Schools can appeal any disqualifications or penalties within a period of seven (7) days, following the exam.

Winners will be announced/published, not later than 3 days, following the exam.

A state champion MUST have to have challenged and defeated more than half of the total number of schools in each state.
